THE PRACTICE
A BLEND OF ALIGNMENT-BASED PHYSICAL YOGA AND MENTAL EXPLORATION THROUGH CONSCIOUS EFFORT & CONVERSATION
01 / BODY
We begin with psychoeducation and a supportive group discussion where we explore the interplay of Katonah Yoga theory and personal psychology. Learn and integrate practices that support our everyday lives. We build ourselves up as we build community. Deepen your sense of connection to yourself and others, enhance mental clarity and emotional well-being.
02 / BODY
We then explore a physical yoga practice that focuses on the handling of things and understanding our capacity & boundaries. All while developing our understanding of what makes us feel safe and powerful. Use props, partner poses, and breathwork to explore the physical territory and maps of the body. Feel supported and held as you explore how our physiology mirrors our psychology.
